Carolyne Rivera - "How Many Did We Win?" "One"

In Avengers: Infinity War, Iron Man, Dr. Strange, Spiderman, and the Guardians of the Galaxy are on a distant planet, discussing what they can do to defeat Thanos who is only becoming more powerful every moment, when Dr. Strange looks into the future with the Time Stone to view all possible futures to determine which one is the best. But of the millions he saw, only one of them ended with them winning. Eventually, the events set in motion resulted in half of the universe fading from existence for five years and characters like Iron Man and Black Widow sacrificed themselves to bring everyone back, but the Avengers ultimately did claim victory in the end.

In the movie, the characters had the resources to actually look into the future and were guaranteed a relatively accurate series of events that would follow their actions, but in real life, there is no such guarantee. A lot of speculation can be made based on experience and logic but no outcome is promised by our actions and we can only make a decision in each moment of what to do and hope we will achieve the results we are aiming for. Every day is filled with a million possibilities, but which one we will actually choose is up to us.
