Alison Byrd: The Importance of Destiny

Destiny is the belief that our lives are guided by a deeper purpose or path, something beyond coincidence or chance. It gives us a sense that where we are and what we are going through has meaning. In a world full of uncertainty, the idea of destiny offers a quiet reassurance that life has meaning. As both our experiences, good and bad, were worth it for the end goal.

Destiny is powerful as it does not cancel out free will, it works alongside it. We still make choices, but destiny gives those choices weight. This keeps us going in life even when it becomes foggy or unclear. This makes the experiences of the past worth looking back on because they actually made you the person you are today and were worth the struggle and hardships.

Destiny matters because it gives direction to life. It helps people understand that they need to trust the process, even in hard times, and reminds us that there is more to life than what the eye can see. Believing in destiny does not mean we have all the answers, it just means we trust there is a reason to keep moving forward.
